Too much concern for ourselves ~ fearful concern ~ prevents us from seeing what is right in front of us, here and now. Religion thrives on it!

Although we can’t simply forget ourselves, we can, now and then, put self aside for greater interests, rather than always keeping it at the center. This is possible.
