Just A Thought ~ ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY

"Pray not, the Darkness will not brighten. Ask naught from the Silence, for it cannot speak. Vex not your mournful minds with pious pains. Ah, Brothers, Sisters, seek naught from the helpless gods by gift and hymn, nor bribe with blood, nor feed with fruit and cakes! Within yourselves Deliverance must be sought; each man his prison makes."

~ Sir Edwin Arnold: "The Light of Asia" ~

As humans, we must learn to accept responsibility ~ and credit ~ for our race. We have arrived here by the process of trial-anderror, not by the help or intervention of any God. If, on our way, we have created problems, we have the power to solve them, as we have done all along the way. It is in accepting responsibility instead of holding someone or something else responsible, that we find strength to deal with life.
