Just A Thought ~ THE SEARCH FOR MEANING
Words are often ambiguous, and we
look for meanings where there are none. Unwilling
to accept things at face-value, and convinced that
they contain mysteries, we interpret them according
to our predilections.
Look at this hocus-pocus of the bread-and-wine,
for example. Charlatans are not slow to take advantage
of our gullibility.
