If we look
closely, we will see that many of our problems
arise from Envy; when it is present, we are
unable to live at peace with ourselves.
Without it being
mentioned in the curricula, our education systems
teach us to be envious, greedy, and selfishly
ambitious, which are very destructive, and are
the antitheses of peace, contentment and happiness.
If we were taught and shown how to cooperate
with others for the common good, and discovered
joy therein, instead of how to compete with
and be better than others, there would be far
less tension and strife in the would. It can
be done. Why isn’t it? |
